Bellawings Became the First Operator Acquired Air Operators Certificate Issued by CAACI

At the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) today, the Civil Aviation Authority of Cayman Islands (Hereinafter referred to as “CAACI”) officially issued the Air Operators Certificate (Hereinafter referred to as “AOC”) to Bellawings, which marked that Bellawings has been highly recognized by the local authorities in terms of aircraft operations, maintenance services and flight support. As a pioneer in the business aviation industry, Bellawings further expanded its globalization of business jet operation.


At the official ceremony, Mr. Richard Smith, Director -General of CAACI presented the AOC to HK Bellawings President Mr. YJ Zhang, ushered the long-term cooperation between the two sides and the determination of jointly contribute to the development of local business aviation.


"We are honored to be the first AOC holder endorsed by the CAACI. Bellawings would regard Cayman Islands as one of our bases in the future to help expanding the diversity of local aviation industry and bring more fly options to clients around the world.” Said Mr. YJ Zhang, President of HK Bellawings.


Mr. Richard Smith, Director -General of CAACI stated, “We are very pleased to announce this milestone development for the Cayman Islands Aircraft Registry.  The strategic partnership between the CAACI and Cayman Enterprise City provides key elements required for facilitating jurisdictional establishment for offshore operations and Bellawings has demonstrated the viability of this arrangement.  We are excited to have Bellawings operate commercially under Cayman Islands jurisdiction and look forward to their continued growth as they serve the needs of this dynamic industry.”
